What We Do
A child who doesn't learn their native language may struggle to pass it on to the next generation. Language is the key to culture, identity, and values, making its preservation crucial. We advocate for 'No Child Left Behind,' stressing the importance of learning one's native language. Speaking alone is insufficient; children must also develop reading and writing skills to fully engage with their culture and values through their language.

Multilingual-Phonemic Keyboard
Introducing the Varta Keyboard (Vārta Keyboard) - a versatile and intuitive multilingual keyboard designed to enhance your typing experience across multiple languages. Built on phonemic principles, the Varta Keyboard is designed to ensure accurate and efficient text input through typing/ swiping.
Varta Keyboard features:
- Slide typing feature in Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil & Telugu
- Word predictions from over 1 lakh words in each language
- Custom dictionary for user preferred words
- Three language variants for Tamil: IN, MY and LK

Varta Keyboard - Browser Extension
Varta Keyboard browser extension is a Multilingual, phonemic Keyboard for efficient typing; it currently supports HI, KN, ML, SA, TA & TE.
Varta Keyboard enables typing in multiple Indian languages directly from your browser using a standard QWERTY keyboard.
Varta Keyboard does not have separate keys for vowel signs or modifiers in Indian languages. Instead, it automatically generates the appropriate modifier based on the combination of consonants and vowels you type. The online virtual keyboard can be turned on to show on-screen key layout.
Currently supporting Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Sanskrit, Tamil and Telugu, Varta Keyboard will add more Indian languages in future updates.
